Darrien's Art Work

Darrien Brown is a proud student and soon to be graduate student at Northern Illinois University, this May of 2022 he will graduate with my Bachelor of Arts degree. He enjoys screen printing and graphic design, and I can also say he loves abstract work that’s 3D effects to them as well. Growing up as a kid he loved all art. Music, drawing, dance, fashion, you name it. He played the drums for his church as well and even started his own clothing line called Royal Rugrats & Finesse Kidz. He comes from the south side of Chicago Englewood area where not too many make it out or go to school. HE struggles with his speech but that’s one thing that want stop him from becoming the best designer there is. He has one child, Danaeva Brown 4 months yrs old, and he is the youngest out of 11 siblings so yes, I see why he goes so hard and is so determined in school and in what ever it is he does. My passion is to become the next late Virgil Abloh. For those who don’t know who that Is he is a famous multi-millionaire designer for Louis Vuitton and Off White, and many more. My inspiration from him makes Darrien want to become like or even better. As a kid Darrien lost many of his friends to gun violence and the streets and still to this day he still is. From where he’s from it’s a miracle to see the age 25. He just buried his brother on his 25th birthday June 31, 2021, so therefore he chose this. Most of his photoshop skills and computer skills came high school which he attended Perspectives Highschool of Technology graduated August of 2016. At that high school is where he obtained his certification for Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Premiere CS6. Now he lives in DeKalb in a house with the mother of his child and his daughter, he still attends Northern Illinois University as a senior with only 1 month left and then he plans to move to Texas with his daughter and Jasmeen.
